Hornettek Usb Wireless Driver
I am trying to figure how to install this WLAN USB antenna and it is giving me some trouble, any help appreciated.

The chipset used is Realtek RTL8192su for which I loaded the driver using ndiswrapper.
After installing the driver I can finally see the LEDs working and suprisingly I can scan for networks using this device:
A good indication that the device is somehow working.
Now the problem is that in Network Manager the device always appears as Disabled. If i turn the laptop wireless ON I can see all available networks. When I turn laptop wireless off and plug the antenna I get the above iwlist scan but, in gnome GUI, the device appears disabled.
It is worth mentioning the driver (net8192su) does not appear in lsmod
Any ideas?
